Post 537 Baseball
Mooresville American Legion Post 537 has been awarded two baseball teams for competition this summer. The newly established Mooresville post will field junior and senior American Legion teams in Area III.
American Legion baseball is a national institution begun in 1925, having taught hundreds of thousands of young Americans the importance of sportsmanship, good health and active citizenship. The program is also a promoter of equality with young men from all walks of life participating. American Legion baseball is a stepping stone to manhood for millions of young men who go on to raise families or play the sport at the highest level.
Pine Lakes Prepatory School will be the base school for both squads, but the teams can also draw players from Mooresville High, Hough High, West Rowan High, South Iredell High and Lake Norman High.
