Senior Baseball Team
For players 17 - 19 years of age. They will play an 18 game schedule. Home games will be played @ Mooresville Senior High School and will begin at 7:00pm on game nights.
Head Coach: Jeff Burchett - a former local legion player who has been head coach of the Mooresville Senior High Blue Devils baseball team for last 15 seasons. He was the 2007 North Piedmont Conference coach of the year for leading his team to the conference championship, and he was the 2008 Region 7 coach of the year as his team won the district championship. He has coached many all-conference and all-county players and has had more than 20 players continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level.
Assitant Coach: Johnny Meadows - has been junior varsity and varsity assistant baseball coach at Mooresville High for seven years. He coached Post 66’s junior legion team from 2004 to 2009, finishing as state runner-ups in 2008 and winning a state championship in 2009. In 2010, he coached the Mooresville Legends, an independent legion team, to a state runner-up finish. He’s won three Area III junior championships and has an overall legion record of 118-47.
